The Oxford Israel Alumni Society serves as a regional point of contact with your University of Oxford community. The Society organises social, educational, and professional activities to foster connections among Israeli alumni, welcome members of the wider Oxford community to Israel, and support current and prospective Israeli students.
About Us
The Oxford Israel Alumni Society is an official regional alumni society of the University of Oxford, forming part of a network of over 150 regional alumni societies across more than 90 countries. The society organises social, educational, and professional activities to foster connections among alumni residing in or visiting Israel, while also supporting current and prospective Israeli students.The society is co-chaired by Simon Kotlerman, Esq. and Aviv Yehezkel, PhD and was inaugurated on 8 March 2024 at the British Ambassador’s residence in Israel.We warmly invite Oxford alumni and their families to join the Society for the opportunity to attend engaging events, participate in our activities, and forge meaningful connections with fellow alumni through our private communication channels.For any inquiries, feel free to contact us at [email protected].
Our Activities
Inaugural Ceremony at the British Embassy
8 March 2024
It was delightful to inaugurate the Oxford Israel Alumni Society at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Ramat Gan last Friday, March 8th, 2024.We wish to extend a special thank you to Ambassador Simon Walters, who graciously invited us to hold the ceremony at his residence; to DHM Helen Fazey, Shira Lanir, and Liat Mandelbaum Shor from the British Embassy Israel for their kind words, warm hospitality, and support; and of course, to Neta Gruber Perry, Director of the European Desk at the Israel Innovation Authority, and Anita Leviant, President of the Israel - Britain Chamber of Commerce (IBCC) — we were truly touched and inspired by your keynote speeches.Lastly, we thank all our brilliant members who attended the event and made it such a success - we look forward to growing the community and seeing many of you at future gatherings!Music by: Ido Karmi and Sagy Zelekovits, Israel Conservatory of Music.

Israeli Global Alumni Alliance

The Oxford Israel Alumni Society is pleased to announce that we have joined an alliance of Israeli alumni clubs from prestigious global academic institutions, an initiative launched by Tel Aviv University.We were honoured to participate in the alliance's inaugural event, which focused on "The Role of Multinational Corporations and the Tech Industry in Creating a Resilient Israel."
